Washington D.C.

In October of 1999, I took a business trip to our nation's capitol.  We spent 4 days at the headquarters of the Seventh Day Adventist Church videotaping a summit on Race Relations.  On the weekend we took some time to visit the museums and other sites around the Mall area of DC

wash7sm.jpg (6046 bytes) The Washington Monument looked very different than usual due to it's makeover our taxdollars are paying for.  It was completely closed so we didn't get to go to the top.

Washington DC has a nifty public transportation system that got us everywhere we wanted to go.
