Schlitterbahn!
A really big Water Parkensnitzel

I saw a show on the Travel Channel talking about America's biggest and best water park called Schlitterbahn.  It is in New Braunfels which is just slightly north of San Antonio.  Oddly enough, New Braunfels had just been all over the news for being flooded out for about a week or so.  As we drove up to the park we could see several houses and stores that had been destroyed by the high water.  Somehow the Park didn't get any damage at all even though it is right beside the river.  We found a place to park and jumped right into the action.

It was cloudy all day long, but when you're at a water park it's not like you're going be annoyed by the drizzly rain.  We didn't have to worry too much about getting sunburned either because of the overcast skies.  The crowds were not too huge either because of the weather.  I guess everyone though the park was still closed due to flooding.  Overall, it was a great day!  Schlitterbahn is definately a great waterpark.  Best I've ever been to!
